Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 egg
5 ml vanilla essence
3 tablespoon sugar
125ml milk
1 teaspoon baking powder

Method

In a bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder.
In a jar mix eggs, milk and vanilla essence.
Combine dry and wet ingredients until nice and smooth batter.
Scoop up and fry in a greased pan until the top bubbles, flip and cooked the other side.
Serve with fresh berries and syrup.

Method

  1. Crumb the butter and flour together.
  2. Add the salt.
  3. Add the eggs.
  4. Add the milk.
  5. Combine the mixture until it resembles a crumbly dough, then work it into a ball on a table surface and refrigerate for 30 minutes prior to use.
  6. Use accordingly.
